Founded in 1948, Mid-West Quilting Co. Ltd (MWQ).

Established roots in Winnipeg, Canada at the peak of a boom in the textile industry. The city’s rich heritage provided a well-suited home for MWQ to provide quilted components for the many manufacturers flourishing in the uniform, home furnishing, and fashion sectors for which we continue to do so until this day.

Focus on Safety.

Since the mid-2000’s, MWQ has followed the important trend to improve the personal protection for those working in potentially hazardous situations, such as a flash fire and/or arc flash. As the demand for fire retardant personal protection equipment’s grew, so did we.

Ensuing to this trend into Fire Resistant fabrics, MWQ developed a variety of Cold Weather Insulation linings to assure the safety and comfort of front-line workers that face these hazards. MWQ has also worked to develop several Flame-Resistant Quilted linings for a variety of applications.
