At Mid-West Quilting Co. Ltd. (MWQ), our mission is to provide high-quality quilted components and fire-resistant fabrics to a broad range of manufacturing sectors worldwide.

Founded in 1948 in Winnipeg, Canada, we have built a strong presence in the quilting and textiles industry, both domestically and internationally. Over the past 20 years, we have focused on enhancing safety and personal protection for workers in hazardous environments, responding to the growing demand for fire-retardant fabrics.

To address critical safety needs, MWQ has developed a variety of cold weather insulation linings designed to ensure the safety and comfort of frontline workers exposed to arc flash and flash fire hazards. We have also created several flame-resistant quilted linings for a wide range of applications.

We understand the importance of timely delivery. Our efficient global supply chain ensures that customers around the world have access to our in-stock fabrics, including fire-retardant cottons, fire-retardant cotton/nylon blends, modacrylic blends, Nomex® blends, and various meta and para-aramid blends. Additionally, we offer a wide range of insulations, from cotton and polyester blends to silk, wool, modacrylic, Nomex® (both virgin and shoddy fibers), Kevlar®, and Twaron®.
